Aaaaaand that's a wrap!

Phew!

Okay, I know I’m a few days late, but I basically fell into a post-NaNoWriMo hibernation as soon as it hit December 1st!

That’s it for another year, the great writing marathon is over! Congratulations to everyone who took part! How did we all go? Sylvs has already posted about reaching their goal, did anyone else hit their target? Whether it was 50,000 words or 1000, it’s always good to celebrate your wins.

I didn’t quite hit my target, but I got a good chunk of my draft done. I also learned a whole heap of things about my characters, and the way I like to work as a writer. For example, I realised that I prefer to write early in the morning, so I’ll get up with the sun and get some words down before my morning walk. Anyone else discover something new about their writing or writing process?

Thank you all for joining me on this journey, I always find it much easier to work towards goals when I’ve got people around me I can chat to about writing and reading. And an extra special thank you to Sylvs and poppy who posted their own thoughts and writing on this blog. To say thanks, you’ll both receive an Inky book pack in the mail! Yahoo!

I’m already counting down the days till the next NaNoWriMo. Can’t wait!
